Another affordable Japanese Sushi! Pass by this sushi restaurant and decided to give it a try!
It's another budget sushi restaurant where their sushi is categorized in RM1.90 and RM2.90 per plate. Sushi are fresh, reasonable to its price. Rather pack in the peak hour, hence the food comes slower. But their service was acceptable tho. Coffee and Cakes? Nope, there's more in this dog cafe! Located in Subang Jaya, here's a new dog cafe happening!
I bring Muffin and MaoMao to try out this new cafe as I happened to have their balloons ( which offers me a buy one free on promotions !) Well, I've been visiting several pet cafes ever since I adopted them, as it is really heartbreaking to leave them alone in house (Especially when they are looking at me with their innocent pair of eyes! ) Read more on Muffin and MaoMao here. Something different of this cafe is that they served local cuisine too! Despite all cafes served mainly western cuisine, coffees and cakes, I finally found something different here! I personally isn't a cafe person, and prefer some Chinese food over Western but had no choice if I would want to bring my pets along. Thank god I found here! The restaurant owner owns Husky, and I saw it once! Really huge, so if you're bringing small pets you could not let them wander around, These cafe is meant for bigger breeds. How long is 6 inch Hot Dog? Since I am in Seri Kembangan area after my filming, my friend suggested to have western food for dinner. So we came across C180, and stopped by this cafe. Well, seeing that their signature dish is their six inch hotdog, I would definitely love to give it a try. However to my disappointment, their hotdog wasn't as long as I imagined hahaha. Perhaps I didn't know how long is 6 inch either. I initially thought it was grilled sausages instead of hotdog bun.
Despite that it doesn't match with my expectation, their hot dog taste good. At least better than those common hot dog we usually ate. Love their Seafood Soup! Italiane cuisine today! Maybe we shall pamper ourselves with fine dining once a while isn't? So I came here, D'Italiane at Jaya 33 with my family. All dishes ordered are recommended by the staff there. Except for the drinks haha. I initially wanted to order Strawberry Banana but their Banana is out of stock :( So I picked Strawberry Madness Smoothie. It's too sweet, to be honest. Their mushroom soup is good, thick and nice. Pepperoni Pizza! I personally love thin crust pizza, so their pizza suits my taste. But still, it taste average like you can have it in anywhere else.
I love the Seafood Soup. Thick in gravy, full with seafood. It is not really spicy, somehow a bit similar like tomato soup. Famous for their Galmaegisal. Have you tried it? Galmaegisal means 'Pork Skirt Meat' - it is said that it is low calories and high in protein. Perfect for us who are always in diet isn't? It's their signature meat as well so of course we ordered their Shinmapo Signature set, 2-4 pax for RM 118. It served with the military stew, consisting of mushrooms, ham and sausages.
Sinful Meal- Yet Unresistable Korean BBQ Buffet Finally done with my exam and so we decided to reward ourselves with nice food! Well, we found Hwa Ga Korean BBQ restaurant in Sunway Mentari so we decided to settle down here. There are a la carte and buffet options, and after we do some calculations ( to see which one worth ><) and we chosen their buffet! Hahaha To be honest it wasn't the best Korean BBQ nor the cheapest Korean BBQ buffet. It cost us around RM45 per pax for lunch including taxes. The dining environment was good, and the lady boss is friendly. Just a bit tough to communicate with their staff cause all are foreigners and they don't understand English well. Not much choices of food and side dishes either, which I mentioned in my previous post that side dishes are the most important criteria for a good Korean Restaurant!! Food are average, I like their Japchae among all, it is juicy and sweet in taste. I wouldn't mind having another bowl but I couldn't fit in anymore T.T Soups are somehow a bit bland, and others are average. SS14, right opposite SS15 where a lot of gourmets happening there. Right now there's 2 budget sushi restaurant in SS15 and one here- Zen S.
In terms of price, it is rather reasonable, starting RM1.80 per plate to RM 3.80 per plate. When it comes to budget sushi, Sushi Mentai will still be my option. But if I happened to be SS15 and having a sushi place, I would pick Zen S out of Sushi Flash and another newly opened Sushi Go. The food here is considered average, but some of their sushi is served right after they took out from fridge. Their tamago is frozen, the sushi rice are cold. Well, they definitely leave me a 'not so good' experience. I first visit Geylang Lor 9 in Johor Bahru branch when I was young.
To be honest, I still prefer Johor Bahru branch (beside KSL City Mall) compared to the one in SS2, Petaling Jaya. Everytime I wanted to have frog porridge, Geylang Lor 9 is the only one in my mind! Till now, this is still the best claypot Kong Pou Frog Porridge. I usually ordered A pot of frog , with plain porridge, cause the gravy is good enough with the porridge. Of course over the time the price had increased compared to 10 years ago. Many of my friends don't eat this sadly. For anyone who does, here is definitely a choice of yours! Reviews (For SS2 Petaling Jaya branch) Price : 6/10 Food : 8/10 Ambience : 7/10 Service : 7/10 Parking : 5/10 Address : 10, Jalan SS 2/61, SS 2, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia A delicious bowl of noodle makes your day. They called this 生肉面, (raw meat noodles) but this is similar to our pork noodles.
I think this is the most generous pork noodle I ever ate. It might look small, yet I can't even finish a bowl. Maybe because of the pork given are generous. The soup as well, richful in flavour, unlike those we have it in the hawker stall. To be frank, I really like the pork noodle served here. Despite the price being a little bit high, but I think it worth the price. I prefer the dry noodle instead of the hor fun. What's for dessert today? - Bingsu!
Another location for Bingsu , at Bing's located in One Utama Shopping Mall. Geeee I chose Mango and Pineapple flavor, and this is their 'best' recommendation as well. Hmmm, if you ask me about it I think I would prefer the one I mentioned in my previous post " Bingsu Cafe at Uptown Damansara " . In terms of price, it is a little bit more cheaper than Bingsu Cafe. At least I saw a RM 18 option. >< Maybe because the mango puree isn't enough to covered the ice, so it is a bit plain, I felt, Review: Price : 6/10 Food : 6/10 Service : 5/10 ( No staff actually take their initiative to clean the tables ) Ambience : 6/10 Parking : 5/10 ( If you're expecting more parking in One Utama, then definitely don't go during weekends ) Address: LotSK2E, 2nd floor, One Utama Shopping Mall. |
