Finally got to try the famous SabX2 Wanton Mee! I've heard this SabX2 Wanton Mee for long time ago, and I didn't get to visit this restaurant as they were closed on the last trip I came here. We got here early, as you'll need to have a long long queue if you're here around 10-11 am. Again, I felt that it is rather over rated as well as there's nothing unique on their wanton noodle. It taste just like any wanton mee you can taste in Johor Bahru Malaysia. On the other hand, I felt that their Pork Trotter Rice was good! Rich in gravy with salted vege, you'll have a richful taste! Well, as we had only half day here, we just have our second round in Pratunam area.

Food Hunt Day in Pratunam! We'll go through a day in Pratunam in this post. There's a problem living in this rich is food varieties country too. You'll have problem deciding what to eat everyday! We had our breakfast at a food stall behind Baiyoke Suite hotel - Tom Yam Chicken Noodle with Braised Trotter and Eggs and Stir Fry Kangkung for today!
A day at Siam, Bangkok. Visit the newly opened LINE Friends! 2.1.2018 Day 2 I decided to start by exploring Siam area today. It is quite near to Pratunam, for about 2 stations ahead from BTS Ratchathewi. You can also walk there for about 20 mins walk, well I do walk back from Siam! Brunch is important peeps! Before we started anything and everything, we have to fill our stomach first Yay! I went to Som Tam Nua restaurant right opposite Siam Center. I'd seen a lot good reviews and this restaurant has been rated as a 'must visit restaurant' in Bangkok, so here I am to try how good it was. Unexpectedly the environment was cozy and nice! I am lucky as I went there early, as it became quite pack when it comes to lunch hour.
This are the 3 signature dishes that I tried:
After 6 months, I am back to Bangkok ♥️ Note that my sole purpose this time is purely to eat and shop! 😋😋😋 But first, let me take a selfie while waiting for the delayed flight. We check in to Lemontea Hotel which is in Pratunam area, and very near to their market.
Do watch my upcoming VLOG for the images. I would rate the hotel 6/10, the environment is clean and neat, comfy as a 3 star hotel. I booked in Agoda at RM 684.66 for 3 nights, considered reasonable price in that area. What I love most is of course its strategic location as well as their friendly staff. If I had to comment I would say the only criteria is that their water heater isn't that warm enough, somehow I felt cold hahaha. Right after check in to Lemontea Hotel in Pratunam (stay tuned to my upcoming VLOG), we immediately visited Family Mart next to our hotel and grab a pack of sausage to fill our hungry stomach. Amazingly, their sausages were delicious! |
